We source our wood from land that has been contracted for wood burning, which means that the trees on this land would otherwise be burned in large-scale industrial operations with the sole purpose of clearing the land. Our research team identifies these contracted lands and harvests the trees before the mass burnings take place, giving the wood a second life in our products.
